Girls Footwear Colorist

Add your inspiration to one of the most creative teams in the industry. This is a great opportunity to make your mark and rise with a triple digit growing division of Osiris. Your main responsibility will be creating the color ups and specs for the Girls Shoe Line with a distinct Junior perspective.

You will be a perfect fit if you have a strong emphasis on trend interpretation, materialization, color-blocking and graphic design/application on fashion/athletic footwear. Additionally, you will be on a very tight knit team and be asked to contribute to the overall Girls Brand Vision. Please only apply if you are inspired by life and the colors you design with……

Your duties will include:
• Inspiration: Develop trend boards for each season’s line (colors, materials, ect)
• Inspiration & Partnership: Develop patterns and advise on artists that we should partner with for the line
• Execution: Integrate those colors, patterns, and artists into your color ups
• Execution: Color up a 30-40 SKU shoe line per season (Spring, BTS, and Holiday)
• Execution: Oversee the color up and spec files of the Kids Line (which are shoes taken directly from the Girls and Men’s lines)
• Execution: Color up Special Make-Up shoes for key accounts for both Girls and Kids
• Vision: Share your vision and opinion on new silhouettes the designers create
• Communication: Present the line to the Girls Brand Director and sales team
• Communication: Give comprehensive product presentations at global sales meetings, regional footwear meetings, and to accounts
• Communication: Maintain daily communications with in-house product coordinator and oversees factories. Manage the Quality Control of products and correspondence with factories when changes are needed.
• Organization: Organize the samples we receive into an accessible system
• Research: Take trending trips and continually research the competition

Other Requirements:
Adobe Illustrator experience/mastery is mandatory
Adobe Photoshop experience is a plus
Travel every few months
Minimum of one year experience
Be able to lift 10lb-30lb boxes of shoes
