Freelance PR Consultant
Quiksilver is looking for a freelance PR professional for a one-time project opportunity. We are only considering freelancers only, no agency proposals please. Estimated time for completion is two weeks.
Project Description:
The project contains two separate parts, both of which are administrative and hands-on and require developing protocol and training internal staff.
Overhaul Quiksilver PR’s media collection/organization procedure. We currently monitor news through Vocus and all news/media with Quiksilver mentions is archived. We also maintain an archive of media and industry information sources to be accessible for the Marketing department.
Review, recommend and update Quiksilver’s contact management system for the PR/Marketing department. This is an Industry/Business Partners list, not a consumer data-base or media contacts project.
Qualifications:
- Understanding of media (traditional and new forms)
- Highly organized
- Strong point of view
- Experience with Vocus and other PR software/programs
- Experience with contact management systems
- Agency experience a plus
